Conflict Resolution-
Dealing With Difficult People
Edward Deming, the father of quality management, has said that people
can face almost any problem, except the problem of people. We can work long hours, face declining business,
even the loss of our job, but we can’t deal with the difficult people in our lives. Conflict Resolution
- Dealing with Difficult People will help participants identify some of the ways they may be contributing
to these problems. The course materials provide participants with strategies they can adopt, to use at work as
well as in their personal life.
Participants will learn to:
• Recognize how their own attitudes and
actions impact on others
• Find new and effective techniques for managing negative
emotions
• Develop coping strategies for dealing with difficult
people • Identify times when they have the right to
walk away • Learn some techniques for managing and
dealing with anger
• Recognise and prevent problems from
occurring
